All this located just 50 miles north of Newcastle upon Tyne, easily accessible from the A1 trunk road.

Swallows Nest holiday cottage is ideally located for a family holiday or relaxing break away from the rat race.  Nestling in a small private development called Armstrong Cottages, it takes just a couple of minutes to stroll through sand dunes to the magnificent beach. Armstrong Cottages benefit from being very quiet, safe from traffic with plenty of space to play, cycle or scooter. Bamburgh village offers lovely country pubs, village stores, children's play area, tennis courts and cricket green within easy walking distance. Not to mention the Grace Darling museum, Bamburgh Castle visits and a fabulous links golf course.

After days out exploring this fascinating region or just having family fun on the beach, all your home comforts are provided for at Swallows Nest. The cottage has much of the charm of a ‘beach house’ but with the benefits of spacious internal planning, a lovely light interior, and cosy living room with open fire and two bathrooms. It is very well equipped to a high standard of comfort, including a colour television, video, games and toys to keep families entertained for hours! 

The sunny rear garden is fully enclosed with a large timber deck for eating alfresco or just sitting back and relaxing. A large calor gas barbeque and outdoor furniture are available for that fun filled family barbeque!
