What our guests think of Swallows Nest…

friends on beach“After many many years of cottage holidays, this is the most splendid, wonderful, idyllic holiday spot ever. The cottage is lovely and spacious and gives a feeling of utter relaxation. The seaside decor suits it perfectly.” Mr and Mrs Pallett, Rothley, Leicestershire

“Starry nights through skylights, snow covered dunes and windswept sands, a castle to rival any in ‘Lord of the Rings, tasty bubbly to toast in the New Year.  Candlelit meals at a welcoming table, comfy sofas as big as boats, space for toddlers to roam and play, its ‘Oh so quiet its oh so still’… What a treat!” Aletta Seymour and friends, Newcastle

“A wonderful holiday in five star luxury, Alan and I have self-catered more times than we care to
remember, and your lovely house is certainly one of the best properties we have had the pleasure to stay in, every DSCN3762need has been catered for. The decor is lovely and the location of your house perfect.” Mr. and Mrs Beiyhtmor, Romsey

“It being our first family holiday with our 11-month-old twins we wanted everything to be just right.  So it was – with Swallows Nest being the highlight of our week in Northumberland.  Having endured an extremely arduous journey (5hrs) to get here, our stress levels subsided within seconds of stepping into the cottage, such was the good
feeling we had. Reading other people’s comments, it has been said many times
over – it’s a fantastic place to stay with so much to do, in all weathers!!  As is so often the case, it is those small touches that
make all the difference, the flowers, the welcome it all made for an extremely enjoyable stay.  My wife and I have had the good fortune to have travelled quite DSCN3756extensively (pre children!!) and as a rule we never visit anywhere more than once, Swallows Nest Bamburgh would prove to be an exception, we will come back!  Mr and Mrs Bell, Northampton
